HISTORY
Being in contact with animals since childhood at my grandparents place , among them horses , poultry and dogs , later I bought my firt pure breed dog in 1994 , an Airedale Terrier imported from France , from " Bralons " kennel .
In 1995 I began going to dog shows and 3 years later , in 1998 , registered the kennel name " de Alterrial " ( Al - Algarve , terri - terrier , al - Portugal ) . Since then I have had , bred and show several breeds .
The first breed I bred was Airedale Terrier and 2 dogs and 1 bitch from my kennel became portuguese champions :

* Pt CH Ivan de Alterrial ( owner : Inês Leite )
* Pt CH Old-Friend de Alterrial ( owner : Miguel Vaz / show by Miguel Neves )
My second breed was Wire Fox Terrier and many dogs from my breeding achived excelent results :
* Bruma de Alterrial : multi CAC , CACIB , BOS , BOB ( owner : Manuel Augusto Carvalho )
* Fúria de Alterrial : multi CAC
* Top-Mark de Alterrial : multi CAC , CACIB , BOS , BOB .
* Pt CH Top-Secret de Alterrial : multi CAC , CACIB , CCC , BOS , BOB ( owner : Álvaro Peixoto )
Beside the dogs I bred , some that I bought alongthe years have won many trophees , good results and tittles :

In 1999 I imported my first Beagle from Spain and in 2001 and 2004 two males from the well known brazilian kennel " Bangor " .
Pioneer in bringing australian lines Jack Russell Terrier to Portugal . Begining of 2003 I imported two bitches from Australia , from the famous kennel " Myrmidon " and one male from the italian kennel " Lantaka " , Myrmidon line .
Still in 2003 I imported one Australian Shepherd couple from France , " L'Orée des Charmois " , and have had my first Portuguese Water Dog litter .
